Morphology

Morphology is a system of knowledge about body and facial forms. It is also a practice of observation and dreaming with the body. It allows us to understand the unique story the shape of our body wants to express in this world.

Human body is a guide to Higher Self. In Morphology we learn to see a large variety of body shapes without judgment, in a state of deep respect for the shapes of others and our own. The body can reveal our strengths and weaknesses, some challenges we need to overcome. Morphology reveals the hidden potential of structure and form.

What do our body and face
speak of?
In Hebrew, the word for face, “panim”, has a dual meaning: one side and the connections of life within it. The face is a medium through which the invisible becomes visible, connecting the mysteries of the soul with expressed body language.
Morphology makes it possible to study human potential manifested in the structure of the body. It shows human character and the foundation of temperament, deepening our knowledge of body language. It can serve as an additional tool for both traditional and alternative healing methods.
In Morphology we study the twelve Greek gods, their myths, and how they are reflected in body types. In practice we recognize the traits of these gods in the faces and bodies of those people we encounter daily.
Morphology is a path to “reading” forms like a dream, responding harmoniously to the great diversity of shapes and their combinations in people.
The study of Morphology requires extensive practice and experience. It is supported by short, dynamic imagery exercises. These exercises bring a deeper personal understanding of the theoretical material.

Classes Include Exploration of:
The mirror principle
Three body types based on embryonic development
Three facial areas: intellectual, emotional, and physical
The four personality types of Hippocrates and the vision of the prophet Ezekiel (studying how elements combine to define temperament)
Forms and details of human hands and palms
Seven portals of perception
12 morphological types, 12 Greek gods and 12 Hebrew tribes (studying how form determines character and behavior)

Morphology is a guide to observing and accepting the true nature of each person, starting with oneself. It is a path to inner wisdom through body awareness.
